Assign Module Access

 
The following steps walk a user, with write access to the module, through assigning module access in User Manager. NOTE: Until module access is assigned, the welcome page will not display any module medallions.

1. Select the Module Access pane in the Outlook Bar.
 
2. In the Content Pane, click on the module bar in which to assign access (Reporter in the example). The bar turns gold when selected.
 
3a. Assign a user: In the Outlook Bar, click on the user you want to grant module access to ("Last, First" in the example). Drag and drop that user into the appropriate role box in the Content Pane. A tool tip appears to guide you. After a user is dragged into the Read or Write field, they will appear under their organization name.
 
3b. Assign an organization: You can grant access to all users within an organization. Select the organization in the Outlook Bar ("Child Organization" in the example), and drag and drop it into the appropriate role box. A tool tip appears to guide you.
 
4. You can also quickly assign access to all modules for a user. Right click on the user's name ("UM Write User" in the example), and select either Assign Read All... or Assign Write All... from the menu.
