The field displays any subordinate tasks.

To add a new child task, click the plus icon . This brings up a new Task Information window; the Period of Performance dates default to the current task's start and end dates. Applying the task information will close that window and add the child task to the list. NOTE: Clicking Cancel after creating the new child task does not remove the association or the task.

To edit an existing child task, select it in the field list and click the pencil icon (you can also double click the task name). This also opens a Task Information window; changes made here are immediately applied to the child task.

To remove an associated child task, select it in the field list and click the X icon . NOTE: This immediately deletes the child task from the architecture or data set, even if the Cancel button is clicked.

The Delete button immediately removes the current task and all of its children. This button is only available when editing an existing task. A confirmation window pops up:
The Apply button saves edits made in any tab of the Task Information window, and then closes the window. The Cancel button reverses edits made in any tab of the Task Information window, and then closes the window.
