Content Pane – By Event

The By Event portion of the Resource Cost Breakdown Content Pane provides an overview of the resource costs (by labor category), funding, other costs, and budget status (over or under), displayed by event. Event cost details can be explored by expanding the project or task. NOTE: None of the fields can be edited in this tab.

Each event has a sparkline graph of relative monthly resource costs in the Resource Costs Chart column. The number of points equals the number of months in the selected time period. Gray points indicate the estimated cost is zero dollars.
6
6.
The Total Resource Cost column shows the total costs of the selected event.
7

The Funded Value column shows the amount of any funding executions applied to the event. NOTE: The funding execution must be assigned in both the Funding tab and the Resource Loading Information window (in the Resource Loading tab).

If any child resource loadings are not associated to a funding execution, this column will be highlighted: If the total funded value is $0.00, this value is highlighted red. Otherwise, the column is highlighted gold to indicate that although there are some associated funding executions, there are child loadings that are not funded, so the value is likely still an issue.
8
8.
The Other Funded Costs column displays the costs of resources in other events that share the same funding executions.
9
9.
For a funded project, the Remaining (Over) Allocation value is calculated using the values in the Total Resource Cost and Other Funded Costs fields against the Funded Value field. If the value is over the allocated amount, it appears in parentheses.

If there are errors, this column will be empty and highlighted red because it cannot be accurately calculated until the errors are resolved.

The Unfunded Costs column displays the total costs of resources that have not been funded.

This column will be highlighted red if there are any unfunded costs.

This column will be highlighted gold if there are any unapplied funding executions.
