Copy a Mitigation

The following steps walk a user, with write access to the module and architecture, through copying a mitigation within an architecture in RAM. This can be useful when creating multiple mitigations using the same text fields, such as if/then statements and root cause.

1. With the desired architecture loaded, ensure you are in the Risk Designer pane of the Outlook Bar.

2. In the Outlook Bar, click the mitigation to copy ("Mitigation Step 2" in the example).

3. Click the Copy button from the Mitigation group of the Ribbon Bar.

4. A duplicate of the original mitigation step is created and displayed in the Outlook Bar. This copy shares the parent of the original step, and its name is prepended with "Copy of". It can be edited without changing the original mitigation. NOTE: Mitigation steps cannot be moved between risks within RAM.
