Criteria Tab

 
The Criteria tab captures information on any entrance or exit criteria associated with the selected project. Criteria are specific to the selected project and are not available as pull-down items in other projects.

Fields

1. Fields
Entrance Criteria field items supplement any predecessor projects or tasks by identifying things that need to be accomplished before the project can begin. This is useful in cases where projects are concurrent, but one cannot begin until a specific milestone in the other is achieved. Exit Criteria field items are what the project should produce or achieve when it is completed.
 
To add either an entrance or exit criteria, click the plus icon next to the desired field. This brings up an information window (entrance criteria shown as an example):
Type in the criteria and click the Apply button. The Identifier can be edited if needed.
 
To edit an existing criteria, select it in the list and click the pencil icon (you can also double click the criteria name). Make any changes and click the Apply button.
 
To delete a criteria, select it in the field list and click the X icon . Clicking the Cancel button cancels the deletion, and the criteria will still be present when the project is reopened. The criteria can also be deleted in the Criteria Information window.

2. Window Buttons
The Clear Changes button resets all fields on all tabs of the Project Information window to the original values; it is only available when editing an existing project. The Delete button immediately removes the current project and all of its children. This button is only available when editing an existing project. A confirmation window pops up:
The Apply button saves edits made in any tab of the Project Information window, and then closes the window. The Cancel button reverses edits made in any tab of the Project Information window, and then closes the window.
