Fields

1. Fields
Dependencies are divided into two lists depending on the direction of the relationship. Dependencies From include any successor projects or tasks to the current task, and concurrent projects or tasks where the current task was selected in the From menu. Dependencies To includes any predecessor projects or tasks to the current task, and concurrent projects or tasks where the current task was selected in the To menu.

To add a dependency, click the plus icon . This brings up the Dependency Information window, where the dependency can be defined.

To edit an existing dependency, select it in the list and click the pencil icon (you can also double click the dependency name). This also opens the Dependency Information window; changes made here are immediately applied.

To delete an existing dependency, select it in the field list and click the X icon . This immediately deletes the dependency from the architecture or data set, even if the Cancel button is clicked.

Window Buttons

2. Window Buttons
The Clear Changes button resets all fields on all tabs of the Task Information window to the original values; it is only available when editing an existing task. The Delete button immediately removes the current task and all of its children. This button is only available when editing an existing task. A confirmation window pops up:
The Apply button saves edits made in any tab of the Task Information window, and then closes the window. The Cancel button reverses edits made in any tab of the Task Information window, and then closes the window.
