Import a Word File

 
The following steps walk a user, with write access to the module and architecture, through importing a Microsoft Word file into Reporter. This can only be done in a Document report.

1. After a new Document report has been created, you can import a Word file into it. NOTE: At this time, only the DOCX file type can be imported.
 
2. Ensure you are in the Report Designer pane of the Outlook Bar. Find and select your Document report ("Sample Document" in this example).
 
3. Select the Edit tab of the Ribbon Bar. Click the Open button in the Import/Export group to select the file for import.
 
4. Navigate to the Word document to import, select the file, and click Open.
 
5. The imported file is displayed in the Content Pane. Use the Document context group tabs to make any edits.
 
6. Select the Home tab of the Ribbon Bar. Click Save Report.
