Physical Asset

Physical Asset describes assets that can be tracked by ID or serial number, such as computers, monitors, phones, printers, cameras, etc. Each Physical Asset represents a single instance of equipment and can be nested inside other physical assets using the Parent Asset field (i.e., "System of Systems"). Physical Assets can also be associated to a person and/or location. Physical Asset references Location, Point of Contact, Compliance, Manufacturer, Asset Type and Virtual Asset, and is used by Connectivity. It should be populated in step 3 of the data workflow. (NOTE: The screenshot was taken in two parts to assist with readability.)
