Report Element Form – Source Data Tab

The Source Data tab of the Report Element form in the Data Source Setup tab defines the data displayed in the report. Asterisk (*) fields are required. The Source Data tab of the Report Path form (i.e., a SubElement) is similar, except it does not have the Primary checkbox.

Source Data Fields

4. Source Data Fields
  •  Node*: the Framework Node where the data is located
  •  Element*: the element from which to extract the data
  •  Sort: how the data should be sorted in the report visual (default selection is No Sort)
  •  Select: choose the records to display if multiple references are present (default selection is Select All)
  •  Primary: report must have one (and only one) primary element; all paths are built from this Framework Node
  •  Recursive: not yet implemented
  •  Show Duplicates: choose to show duplicate values in the report
  •  Enforce Source Node: if checked, displays only the records that were created in the selected node; it will not show data for a node with a different record type

5. Save
The Save button saves the information currently entered in the Report Element form and disable editing. A warning pops up if a required field has not been completed. This Save button only saves this Report Element form; it does not save the overall report design (use Save Report in the Ribbon Bar for this).
